Jacqueline Yvonne Beard

Martinsburg, WV – Jacqueline Yvonne Beard, 64, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Berkeley Medical Center Martinsburg, WV.
She was born on April 24, 1961, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Robert Lee and Wilda Jean (Grim) Crookshank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Beard on February 19, 2025. They were married for 25 years.
Jacqueline was a 1979 graduate of Smithsburg Senior High School. She also attended Hagerstown Business College.
She was a Homemaker.
Jacqueline was a member of Samples Manor Church of God Sharpsburg, MD. She was very active in the church for many years.
She always supported various veteran groups.
Jacqueline enjoyed making crafts, drawing, and painting.
She is survived by her stepdaughter Kelly Staup (Matthew) of Hedgesville, WV; sister Robin L. Hanes (Jeff) of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Laura P. Harker of Falling Waters, WV; brother Robert B. Crookshank of Berkeley Springs, WV; step grandsons Jacob, Jaxon, and Henry.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her stepson Terry J. Beard and brother-in-law Lee Harker.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Samples Manor Church of God Sharpsburg, MD on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Joe Goetz officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
