Even though we didn´t know Jim that long or that well from what we did know he seemed like a good man with a good soul. May he Rest In Peace and peace be with all the family.

A true Texas character! That very distinctive voice and laugh.
He will be so missed. My heart is so sad for his family. Especially Ashley and Wes. Way too soon to lose a father.

Jimmy had such a knack for having fun and making people smile. It´s no wonder he was named "wittiest boy" when we were in Junior High. More than 40 years have passed since I last saw Jimmy, and I always hoped our paths would cross again. I guess I´ll just have to wait until Glory... Comfort and peace to the entire family. You are in my prayers.

I am saddened to learn about the too soon passing of Jim, known as Jimmy to me growing up as our parents were early and lifelong friends. I hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I've been in touch with several of our high school friends and we're all just terribly sad. He was a fun, wonderful guy and our growing-up years left me with memories like few other people are lucky enough to have. I haven't seen much of him in recent times, but I was glad to see him at Matador Breakfast. I miss him terribly.
With my deepest sympathies to you all,
Steve Mobley
