James "Keaton" Lawson, age 30, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, was born January 26, 1995, in Fayetteville to Mory and Darlena Lawson. On Friday, November 7, 2025, while dedicated to work he deeply valued, Keaton suffered a tragic accident that ultimately took his life on November 8, 2025. His passing has left his loved ones heartbroken beyond measure.
Keaton was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Loica "Nanny" Vanover and Curly "PaPa" Vanover. He is survived by his parents; his beloved daughter, Lillian, who he adored beyond words and who adored him in return; his loving grandmother, Judy Lawson of Bella Vista; and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him more than words can ever express. He lived with fierce devotion, especially toward his sister, Kelsie, whom he protected with his whole heart. To his nieces, Lacie and Lydia, he was their treasured Uncle KeKe, a constant source of laughter, joy, and love in their lives.
Keaton's work family at Vision Utility Services was by his side on the job, sharing not just the demands of the day but countless laughs and memorable moments that made work feel like home. In the days since his passing, these friends and coworkers have wrapped Keaton's family in unwavering support, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with them, and showing the true depth of care that comes from bonds built both at work and in life.
If you ever had the good fortune to meet Keaton, you found a lifelong friend. He lit up every room with his smile and unforgettable hugs, and his kindness left a lasting mark on everyone around him. Keaton loved deeply and genuinely, and those who knew him will always remember him as an extraordinary young man, a devoted father, and a shining light in their lives.
The day before Keaton was taken from this earth, he left a message on the refrigerator: "A life lived in love will never be dull." Life with Keaton was never dull, and those closest to him will miss his spirit and love every day.
Keaton's spirit of giving did not end with his passing. Through the selfless act of organ donation, he gave new hope and the gift of life to others. His kindness, radiant smile, and boundless love will be cherished forever by all whose lives he enriched.
Visitation will be held at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas, on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., also at Sisco Funeral Chapel.

We are praying for all of the family. We loved Keaton and watched him grow into a loving father. Marcus and Keaton played together as young boys, and talked together as young men. Keaton will be missed in this life.
