James Milo Palmer

James Milo Palmer passed away due to medical complications at age 54 on the morning of September 16, 2025. James was born, the first of seven children, to Claron Delaine Palmer and Lila Jepsen Palmer on February 28, 1971 in Provo, UT. James was a funloving and mischievous child who loved jokes, pranks, and getting into things, like his aunt's wedding cake. As a youth, James earned the Eagle Scout award and enjoyed music, books and movies. He graduated from Hillcrest High School and graduated with an Associates Degree from Snow College. James was a loyal and loving family member and friend. At gatherings, James enjoyed games, individual conversations, and chasing his small nieces and nephews while growling at them; he became known as "Uncle Rawr." James was loving and kind. He listened and asked questions about others' lives with genuine care. James was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed daily scripture study and prayer with his family. Despite significant health challenges later in his life, James made the effort to attend the temple and serve others including regular visits to his lifelong friend, Don. James exemplified what it means to endure and inspired his family and friends with his positivity and humor. James is survived by his parents, Claron and Lila Palmer, his siblings Janae (Clay) Hudgins, David (Brandi) Palmer, Jodi Palmer, Melissa (Ryan) Davis, Jennifer (Clint) Poole, Stephen (Rachel) Palmer as well as a plethora (23) of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26th. The viewing will begin at 10:00 A.M. with the funeral starting at 11:00 A.M. at Serenity Funeral Home located at 13863 South 2700 West, Bluffdale UT, 84065.
