James Ben Sarratt, Jr., age 66, of Mesquite, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2024. He was born on March 19, 1958 to parents James, Sr. and Geraldine Sarratt in Dallas, Texas.
Ben served his community with his talents as a barber for over 47 years. According to Ben, his work serving his Church and community was his most important accomplishment. He would pray and witness to any person he would come in contact with.
Ben is survived by his loving wife, Rejoice; son, Jude; daughter, Crystal Ann; granddaughter, Kaylee; and sister, Connie Gregory and husband Gene; along with nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Geraldine Sarratt; and brother, Bobby Sarratt.
A Celebration of Ben's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024
at The Summit Church - 207 Security Court - Wylie, TX 75098.
The family has requested that any flowers and gifts be sent to The Summit Church.
