James "Shep" Marshall Shepley, Jr., 80, of Columbus, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1943, he played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA in 1956. Jim played football during his high school years. He also enjoyed hunting. Jim moved to Columbus, NJ in 1977. He was the owner of AMS Appraisals in Columbus, NJ. Jim was a loving and devout husband and father who enjoyed showing horses, dancing with his wife and singing in the church choir.
Husband of the late Antoinette "Toni" Shepley; he is survived by his three loving children and their spouses, John and Bethani Shepley, Joanne and Rick Schall, and Sandy and Ted Santucci; two sisters, Peg Olsen (Erik), and Jean Werner (the late Mike); 10 grandchildren, Hannah, Megan, Eric, Justin, Veronica, Isaac, Sebastian, Jacinta, Mikaela and Mackenzie; one great grandson, Beau; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10-11AM, at the Hedding United Methodist Church, 2289 Old York Rd., Hedding, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the church.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's memory to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
