Jim Stevenson passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025 in his Shoreline, WA home with his loving family by his side. He will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Jim was born on January 18, 1941, in Everett, WA and spent his early years working in the family grocery store. Jim went on to work in sales and owned his own business for a number of years. Jim was known for his kindness and sense of humor. He loved cheering on Seattle sports teams, coaching basketball, spending time at the family cabin in Naketa Beach and any opportunity to be with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by Nancy Stevenson, his loving wife of 60 years, son Clay (Maria), son Brad (Rachel) and grandchildren: Nicole, Jacob, Connor, Ava, and Rylan. He is also survived by his sisters, Sharon Johnson (Dave), Mary Stevenson, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at St. Mark's Catholic church in Shoreline, WA, beginning at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shoreline Fire Department Medic One or EvergreenHealth Hospice Care, in Jim's honor.
Jim's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
