Greece: Suddenly, Thursday, October 9, 2025, at age 82. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret [Weber] Talbot; parents, George & Gertrude Talbot; brothers, George, Fred, Kenny, & Bobby Talbot; sister, Marion Burlingham; daughter-in-law, Darla Talbot; son-in-law, Clifford "Buster" Roy; mother-in-law, Margaret Weber; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, JoAnne & Raymond Weber. He is survived by his children, Deborah Roy, Virginia (Joe) Sofia, William J. (Cathy) Talbot, and James W., Jr. (Mary Kay) Talbot; grandchildren, Clifford Roy, Michael (Faith) Roy, Jamilyn (Josh) Miller, Bruce (Kelly) Rasmusson, Robert (Amanda) Rasmusson, Brett (Jennifer) Rasmusson, Joseph Sofia, Jason (Rachel) Sofia, Toni (James) Reed, James W. III (Sarah) Talbot, and Tyler (Ashley) Talbot; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sister, Irene Smedley (John Fess); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
"Bubbles" was a retiree of Rochester Products after 40 years of service.
Friends may call Thursday, October 16, from 9:00-11:00 AM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. His Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wilmot Cancer Institute, 300 East River Road, P.O. Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627, (https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/cancer-institute/giving/make-a-gift) in his memory.

Dear Debbie and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss and my heart breaks for all of you! James (AKA to me - Don Johnson) was an amazing man! As your close friend Debbie, your dad welcomed me into his life and treated me with such love and kindness, that I will forever be touched. I'll never forget how you both drove all the way to Buffalo, during a December storm to attend my own father's wake, and made such an impact on me at that moment when I saw you both enter. I could never put into words how much it meant to me to have you both there to love and support me! It was then that I shared with him that he reminded me of "Don Johnson" with his full head of beautiful silver hair. At that moment it became our personal joke and one that brings a huge smile to my face everytime I think of it. Thank you "Don" for bringing me such joy. My prayers and love are with you all!
