James Weiland Obituary

James was born on February 26th,1940 to Ralph (Lorraine) Weiland in Aurora, IL. After James graduated from Marmion Military Academy in 1958, he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served in Vietnam.
After being honorably discharged, he began his career in banking at the Old Second National Bank. James continued to work at the bank for almost 38 years until he retired in 1999.
James was predeceased by his parents, Ralph (Lorraine) Weiland, and his brother Ronald Weiland. He is survived by his wife Linda, his daughters Jennifer Raitt and Margaret (Steven) Wallis, and his brother Kenneth (Ruth) Weiland.
A kinder and more caring Husband and Father we could not have asked.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

My condolences on Jim's passing. I worked with Jim at Old Second. He was always very kind and a good person. I'm sure he is missed tremendously.
