Jane Powers Obituary
It is with deep sadness we announce that Jane Powers, 86, died peacefully at home on May 4, 2025.
Jane was born and raised in Estancia, New Mexico.
Mom was an artist and quilter.
She joined the Knights of Pythias Lodge as a Pythian Sister at the age of 16 and was installed as Grand Chief of NM in 1991.
She is predeceased by her husband of many years, Marshall Powers, survived by Sisters Sylvia Levy and Ruth Moon; Children Ed Powers, Rick Powers, Jannan Stewart, and Valorie Bussell; Grandchildren Jeff Powers, Matthew Powers, Chelsea Ruebush, Edward Ruebush, Jesse Abbott, and Kassie Abbott.
The family held a private graveside service at the Estancia Memorial Cemetery.
