Janet A. Erickson, 73, died peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Wayne M. Erickson with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.
Janet was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 13, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Gerald and Dorothea (Foley) Dumont. In her free time, Janet loved to bake delicious, sweet treats and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She never missed an opportunity to visit the beach or dip her feet in the ocean, it was her happy place. Trips to Wells, Maine were her favorite. Janet always looked forward to time around the holidays when her family would gather and spend quality time together. Above all, her most cherished memories were made with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
In addition to her husband, Wayne, she is survived by her two children, Joy Erickson of South Carolina and Kris Erickson of Merrimack, NH; her two grandchildren Aubrey Erickson and Carter Erickson; as well as her five siblings, Geraldine Courtemanche and her husband Louis, Roger Dumont and his wife Pat, Joseph Dumont and his wife Christine, Thomas Dumont and his wife Karen, and John Dumont and his wife Diane; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
