Janet C Whitten
Janet was a faithful servant of the lord. She loved her family and her church.
Janet Crews Whitten of Jacksonville, Florida went to her eternal home on April 9, 2024.
She was born and raised in Jacksonville by Everett and Flora Crews. She went to High school at Ribault High. After graduating she went on to work at Prudential and BB & T bank. She retired from both.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Everett and Flora Crews, her baby brother Donald Crews, as well as her niece Stephanie Crews.
She is survived by her husband Harry Whitten Jr, Son Darin Kirksey (Angel) Daughter Karen Lamb (Jeff) Bonus children Peanut Whitten (Amanda) Donna Coon (Jeff) Jeremy Whitten (Ashley), sister, Marie Wolf (Billy) and brother, Ronald Crews, and her grandchildren Darin II, Jerry, Jey (Tiffany) Jessi (Ben) Austin (Kristen) Bryson, Katelyn, Kloe, Hal, Grant, Drayden, Diana, Jessica, Jesse, and Jake.
Also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, April 15, at North Jacksonville Baptist Church where she faithfully served the lord for over 40 years. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday starting at 12 pm.
