Janey Sue Davis, age 73 , widow of the late Jack Davis, Pine Knot, Kentucky passed away at her home on September 17, 2025.
In addition to her husband, Janey is preceded in death by her parents; Authur and Althea Hall Brooks, brothers; Joe Bill Brooks and Lenville Brooks, sister; Glenna Lee Bruce, and grandson; Corey Terry.
She is survived by her daughter; Tami Kidd of Pine Knot, KY., step-daughters; Lisa Thomas of Whitley City, KY., Tanie Baker (Gary) of Whitley City, KY., sister; Ruth Ann Tucker, of Cincinnati, Ohio, grandchildren; Colby Terry, Hayli Terry, Shay Terry, Kayln Terry (Brandon), Jarrod Crabtree, Candance Foster, Miayh Baker, Josh Thomas and Taylor Thomas, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a special friends; Kathy Gibson and Sheila McCulley,.
Janey attended the Church of God at Marshes Siding, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Per her wishes, cremation was chosen. A private family gathering will be scheduled for a later time.
