Jayne Ann Muddiman

Jayne Ann Muddiman, age 72, of Chambers Hill, PA., passed away on Sunday, November 9th, 2025, after a brief period of declining health. Born on January 25th, 1953 in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Winnifred Holbert of Colonial Park, PA. and Naples, FL., who raised her in their Methodist tradition.

Jayne graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1970. She spent her professional career as a dedicated civil servant with the United States Army in New Cumberland, PA., where she was known for her kindness & sense of humor until she retired in 2010. Throughout her life, Jayne valued family, friendship, and service to country. She was also a lover of all animals – especially dogs. She is survived by her 3 adult sons: Jonathan & Matthew Deitrick & Aaron Muddiman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mike Holbert.

As per her wishes, no service or memorial will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Harrisburg Humane Society or to a cause meaningful to Jayne.
