Jeanette Lee Foster Lawson, 79, of Scarbro, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her home. Jeanette was born on April 4, 1944, in Scarbro, WV to the late Thomas Marcus Foster and Myrtle Maude Martin Foster.
Jeanette was a retired data entry operator at Raleigh General Hospital.
Jeanette loved sewing, quilting, going to yard sales, doing paint by numbers, and most of all spending time with her loving family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Foster; a sister, Judith Foster Morgan; maternal grandparents, James and Ida Martin; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Laura Foster; and several aunts and uncles.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Scott Winebrenner, Robin Tooms, Julia Lewis, Kathy Lawson, Elisha Franklin, Joshua Winebrenner, and their spouses; a brother, David Foster (Tammy); nieces, Joanie and Kim; a nephew, Thomas; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren with another due in May.
Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at High Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor William McClung officiating. Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park
.
Friends may call on the family from 12 PM until the time of service on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at High Lawn Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gordon Franklin I, Thomas Lewis, David Foster, Thomas Morgan, Cole White, and Truman Franklin.
