Jeanette W. "Taylor" Rucker

Jeanette W. (Taylor) Rucker, 85, passed away on August 21, 2025 at Brookdale Nursing Home. Jeanette was born on September 4, 1938 to her parents Edward and Marie (Hamilton) Taylor of Columbia, Kentucky. She retired from Brown and Williamson as a line operator and also worked at JCPS as a school crossing guard. She was a Baptist by faith. She was a loving mother, granny, granny J and sister. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Frank Rucker, sister Glenda Evans, brother Edwin Taylor and grandchild Bryan Odle. Survived by her children Greg Allen (Karla), Debbie French (Joe), Bonnie Warner (Mike), Connie Odle (Greg); grandchildren Josh Allen, Jason Allen, Amy Hughes (Chris), Michael Warner, Matthew Warner, Jeremy French, Jacob French, Cory Odle, Cati Odle; chosen grand daughter Becky Gibson; Great Grandchild Isabella Hughes and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday August 27, 2025 at 5:30pm Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with a private burial on Thursday at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday August 27, 2025 from 3:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
