Jeannine M Plautz, 96 of Marinette passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, at home. She was born on December 3, 1928, to the late Henry and Cecile (Langlois) Lascelle in Marinette. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1947, and had worked on all of the class reunions. Jeannine worked for Ansul for 29 years, retiring in 1988. In May of 1989, Jeannine married Raymond A. Plautz; he preceded her in death on January 2, 1995. She was an avid church goer and member of Holy Family Parish, where she sang in the choir and was a part of the Adoration Chapel.

Jeannine is survived by her daughter, KC (Scott) Lascelle-Hancock of Peshtigo; grandchildren: Kelly (Brent) Franck of Wauconda, IL and Kerry (Dustin) Valley of Green Bay; great grandchildren: Taylor (Ryan) Hodgen, Alexander Franck, Ella Franck, Blake Borkowski, and Gillian Borkowski; great great grandson Easton Hodgen; special cousin, Sister Nancy Langlois; ; nieces and nephews; extended family: James (Charolette) Plautz of Switzerland, Steven (Cindy) Plautz of Big Rapids, MI, Donna (Clyde) Sundquist of Marinette; Sue Ann (Eugene) Andrus of MN, and Rachel (Dave) Rosenfeldt of Oconto. In addition to her parents and husband, Ray, she was preceded in death by sisters: Agnes Quillen, Regina "Dolly" Hacker, and Marlene McGown.

Visitation will be held at Holy Family Parish- St. Joseph's Church on Carney Blvd on Friday August 22nd from 9:30am to 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am with Reverend Celestine Byekwaso officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
