Jeffrey Butler Quick, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 16, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Jeff was born June 25, 1955, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to James Kirby Quick and Helen Louise Oldham Quick. He grew up and attended schools in Okaloosa and Atchison and graduated from Atchison High School. He also attended Benedictine College and Washburn University, graduating with a degree in political science and accounting.
Jeff made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he worked for the Idaho National Laboratory.
He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, softball, camping, painting Christmas villages, and singing. He sang with his brothers growing up and with the Carousel Chorus. He also sang in the Rocky Mountain High Quartet for 25 years. Dad had a great sense of humor. His grandchildren were the source of his greatest pride and happiness.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Liebe of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Shayna (John) Stanger of Iona, ID; brother, Jerry (Teresa) Quick of Tonganoxie, KS; brother, Joe Quick of Corpus Christi, TX; sister, Charlie Camargo of Spokane, WA; and 3 grandchildren, Hallie Liebe, Kaysen Stanger, and Shaylyn Stanger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Quick; brother, John Quick; and sisters-in-law, Marie Quick, Nancy Quick, and Kathy Quick.
The family would like to thank Alliance Home Health and Hospice for their compassionate care of Dad the last few years. We would also like to thank Lindsay for her friendship and love for Dad, and the staff at EIRMC for their support, care and compassion during Dad’s stay. You all made a positive impact on Dad’s and our lives. Thank you!
