Jeffrey Lee Bilbrey

Jeffrey Lee Bilbrey, age 64 of Lima and formerly of Elida, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 6:35 pm, in Mercy Health – St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born October 9, 1958 in Lima, to Larry and Judith (Callahan) Bilbrey. His father survives in Elida and his mother preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children: Nicholas (Tanya) Bilbrey of Lima and Jamie (Ryan) Hobbs of Elida; his former wife, Bonnie Bilbrey Davisson of Elida; his sisters: Tracie (Chris) Taylor, Tammie (Greg) Mangette and Debbie Bilbrey-Hall all of Elida; his grandchildren: Darian and Braylan Elford, Tiara Bilbrey, Madyson, Jackson and Carson Hobbs; plus many nieces and nephews.
Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Elida High School and then joined the U.S. Navy serving four years. After his discharge, he attended Northwestern Business College. He then became a concrete finisher, working for his father, and then the Plasterers and Cement Masons Union Local 886. He was a member of Orioles Nest #173, American Legion Post 96 and St. Gerard's Catholic Church, all of Lima. He enjoyed his Bud Light, Cleveland Browns & Indians, Notre Dame Fighting Irish football, fishing and AC/DC. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
