Jeffrey Francis Fonda, 65, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully Monday, September 30, 2024. He was born on April 5, 1959, in Elgin, Illinois, a son of the late Francis Joseph Fonda and Grace Marie DeSantis Dwyer. He was baptized into the Catholic Church and a believer of Christ. He was a graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana where he received his bachelor's degree in accounting. He served in the United States Army as a 1st Lieutenant and served in the Louisiana National Guard. He worked at KPMG as a licensed CPA and employed at Wells Fargo for 31 years doing Corporate Finance. He was a lover of all sports especially baseball, football, and golf. He thoroughly enjoyed coaching youth sports. On weekends he could routinely be found on the golf course with his son, Jack. He loved going on vacations around the country with his wife, Brenda. Their favorite place to vacation was the beaches in Florida off the Gulf of Mexico.
In addition, to his parents, Jeff is predeceased in death by one sister, Christine Fonda. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda Fonda; their son, Jack Fonda; his stepmother Wilma Fonda; one sister Theresa and Gary Chapman; one brother David Fonda and Russ; one nephew Eric Vahovick.
