Jeffrey Earl Hopper, 31 of Avon, passed away on May 02, 2025. He was born on January 01, 1994 in Indianapolis to Kathy (Wedgeworth) and Jeff A. Hopper. Jeffrey graduated from Cascade High School and went on to play college basketball for I. U. East in Richmond. He worked as a referral coordinator for the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. Jeffrey enjoyed playing basketball, was an avid fan of the Golden State Warriors, enjoyed fishing and dabbled in photography. He was known for his kind heart and always willing to help others. Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Kathy Hopper of Avon; siblings, Amber Leon (Joshua) of Crawfordsville, Preston Hopper (Eden) of Indianapolis, Jordan See (Tyler) of Plainfield, Jayden Hopper of Avon; nieces and nephews, Noella, Enzo, Kashton, Braxton, Caden, Colton, Emersyn; grandmother, Georgia Hopper of Plainfield; aunt, Sharon Osborne (Bob) of Danville; uncles, Steve Hopper of Pittsboro, Rick (Debbie) Wedgeworth of Tennessee, Wayne (Missy) and Tony (Stephanie) Wedgeworth, both of Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lamar and Ina (Shelton) Wedgeworth, Earl Hopper; nephew, Jaxson See; Aunts: Pamela Lucas and Tami Alltop special friend, Kelsey Danielle Smith; and his beloved dog, Bentley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 7th at 10:00 am until the service time in the funeral home. The family requests that friends and family wear blue and yellow in honor of Jeffrey's love for Golden State Warriors. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 07, 2025 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
