In loving memory of our beloved Jeffrey Wayne Owens; Jeff was born on February 3,1961 in Cleveland, Ohio and left this world on August 18, 2025 at his home in Corryton, Tennessee.

Jeff was a lover of many different things. He loved his family, fishing, and boating, but his favorite was working on lawns. In his last few years he started his own business mowing, weed-eating and landscaping. It was definitely a passion for him. Jeff was also a coal miner from the time he was a teenager. He was in a terrible mining accident once and was able to overcome it with the help of Jesus.

Family who have already gone and I'm sure are greeting Jeff with love is his dad, Glen Owens, his son, Josh Good, his sister, Faye Long, his brother, Glen Owens Jr, his niece, Jenny Taylor Seals, his two angel grandbabies, and last but certainly not least, his dear precious, praying mother, Phyllis Owens, who left us eleven months ago. He also has grandparents on both sides and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins waiting for him.

Left to mourn his loss is his wife, Evie Owens, the love of his life. They met later in life and some call their love story something like The Notebook. He leaves behind three sister that adored him, Beverly (Alfred) Taylor, Terrie Smith, and Shelley (Shannon) Owens-Grabeel, his wonderful children, Jeffrey Brandon Owens, Jeffrey Good, Joey Good, Bonnie Good, Landon Owens, and two step-children, Jonathan Kasper and Samantha Kasper, his uncle, Pete (Sheila) Short, aunt, Brenda (Lacy) Hall, Mary (the late Terry) Collett, his wonderful grandchildren, and many other relatives and cherished friends who will miss him dearly.

There are no words on how the family will process this loss except for the help of the Lord.

To Jeff – We love you endlessly, it's not goodbye, it's see you later.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
