Jeffrey L. Silloway, 69, of Marietta passed away April 15, 2025 at his home. He was born on May 24, 1955 in Olean, NY to Reeder L and Helen (Wolf) Silloway who preceded him in death.
He graduated from Olean High School and 1973 and Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, NY in 1977 with a chemical engineering degree. In October 1977 he married Anne Griffith.
Jeffrey was in ROTC in college and earned a pilot's license. He served in the US Army Reserves for 19 years. He loved to travel and was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved to sing and was a church choir member of all the churches he attended. He worked for E.I. DuPont for 19 years in various states and for Chevron for 5 years in Marietta, when he became self-employed as a handy-man.
He is survived by his former wife, Anne, and 3 children Christen (Jason) Craft, Sean (Annick) Silloway and Lisa (Daniel) Chociej and 3 grandsons. Also surviving are brothers Gregory (Janet) Silloway, Stephan (Cathy) Silloway, Lyndon (Cynthia) Silloway, and Richard (Karen) Silloway.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday April 22nd at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral Home from 1 pm on Tuesday until the hour of service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www. Lankfordfh.com.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Leukemia And Lymphoma Society at PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087.
