Jeffrey Lynn Treadway, 74, of Lexington KY, passed away on December 11, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 20, 1950, to the late James Henry and Virginia Summers Treadway. Jeffrey attended Bryan Station Senior High and the University of Kentucky, and he was retired from Georgia Pacific. He was an avid sports fan, and a lifelong member of Broadway Christian Church in Lexington. He loved playing a friendly game of Texas hold 'em. Left to cherish Jeffrey's memory is his loving wife, Mary Spencer Treadway; his brother, David Treadway (Janie); special family, Heath and Alexis Joseph, Shelby Joseph, and Matthew Lemke; numerous close friends, including his Bryan Station Defender friends; and his special dog, Taffy. Jeffrey was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 6 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Main Street. Visitation will be the same day from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family of Jeffrey Treadway. These donations will go to the charities of their choosing.

Having known Jeff for more than sixty years, he was consistently enjoyable to be with and he always greeted me with a smile.
We were teammates long ago on the Bryan Station Junior High basketball team as well as members of the 1968 Bryan Station Senior High graduating class.
After that time, we continued to cross paths at UK for a good while.
He and I also shared a connection to Hazard, KY as he dad, Jim, and both of my parents grew up in and around Perry County, KY.
I understand that today will be a difficult one for all of Jeff´s family and close friends and I will always remember Jeff´s good nature and smile.
