Jeffrey Lynn Williams was a devoted husband, loving father, adoring papaw, dependable brother, and caring friend during his 65 years of life. These attributes stemmed from his Christian faith and his personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Jeff went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 15, 2024.
For over 22 years he shared an inseparable bond with his soulmate, Laura. The two enjoyed countless adventures together and made memories that will be cherished forever.
Jeff was a passionate sports enthusiast who enjoyed golfing and loved all things Tennessee Vols. However, his greatest joy came from watching his grandchildren at their games. He was always the proudest and loudest fan in the stands. Jeff had a special bond with all of his grandchildren, and his love and pride for them knew no bounds.
Family gatherings and vacations were some of Jeff's most treasured moments, where he was surrounded by those he loved the most. He never missed an opportunity to show his affection and love, whether for his family or his beloved fur babies.
After a successful career as a supervisor at UCOR, Jeff briefly worked as a Radcon tech at Y-12. No matter his role, he was known for the lasting friendships he built. His impact on others and his generous spirit will not be forgotten.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Leon Williams; mother, Ruby Randolph Williams.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Laura; his son, Drew Williams (Bethany); daughters, Jackie Moore (Kevin) and Stephanie Allen (DJ); brothers, Randy and Ricky Williams; nephew, Zachary Williams (Brooke); grandchildren, Syler, Spencer, Riley, Talan, Ansley, Alika, Lehua, Kaiden, and Veda; great-grandchild, Isabella; his cherished dogs, Luana, Ululani, Laka Girl, and Keanu; and hosts of other relatives and friends.
Jeff's absence leaves a profound void in our lives. However, we find comfort in knowing his faith was steadfast, and his love for the Lord Jesus Christ was at the core of who he was. We have peace knowing he is now at home with his Savior, and we will be reunited with him one day.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 24th from 4pm-6pm at Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge. The funeral will follow at 6pm. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at 11am at Bethel Baptist Church cemetery in Norris.

The beach will always remind me of Jeff. The main thing I remember and will ALWAYS remember about Jeff is his laugh. He had a BIG laugh. I can hear it in my head as I type this. he was a happy person, and I always felt that he had what he wanted in life, and I looked up to that. One of those people that found their paradise on earth. These are things that comfort me and others now as we grieve.
