Born July 17, 1969, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Susan (Morgan) Nordine and the wife of the late Eugene B. Tyler. Jennifer was a beloved presence in many lives and will be remembered for her dedication to her work at UPMC East, where she served as a telephone operator. Jennifer possessed a profound love for reading, often finding solace and inspiration within the pages of her favorite books. She also had a passion for cooking, delighting family with her culinary creations. Jen is survived by her daughters, Samantha (Steve) Lau of Pittsburgh, and Elizabeth Tyler of Pittsburgh; sister Amy Meghan of Greenock; aunts, Barbara White of White Oak and Linda Jo Grable of California; and uncle, Gary Morgan of Cranberry. I worked with Jennifer indirectly for many years. Operator Jennifer left a profound and positive impact on all of us. She consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to uplift and inspire people, even under the most stressful circumstances. Her voice and demeanor carried something special: a blend of kindness, skill, and genuine care that touched everyone she interacted with. I will forever think of her when I dial the operator within UPMC.

My condolences to the entire family at this harrowing time. We will miss her at UPMC. Please celebrate a well-lived life, albeit shorter than any of us expected. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
