Funeral services for Mrs. Jenny Meredith, 71, of Wisner, LA will be 11 AM Friday, June 20, 2025, at First Baptist Church Wisner, LA with Rev. Thomas Peoples and Rev. Garrison Grifith officiating, with interment to follow in Oakley Cemetery Gilbert, LA. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 9 AM until service time, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
Mrs. Jenny a member of First Baptist Church Wisner and retired bank teller from Franklin State Bank loved to travel and was fortunate enough to have seen the world doing it. She was born October 2, 1953, in Winnsboro, LA to the union of the late Alton B. Stevens and the late Trilby DaCosta Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son William "Little Joe" Meredith, Jr., her sisters, Gayle Stevens, and Teressa Carter, and her partner and friend as she called him "My John" Dennis.
Jenny is survived by her daughter, Angela T. Meredith Fay; grandchildren Haydn Fay, William and Hanna Fay, and Kylie Beaver; great grandson Kyuss Lane Fay; as well as several sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Todd Huff, David Alton Stevens, Jim Sanford, Jeremy Sanford, Kyle Sanford, and Hank Ryan.
Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Matthews, Lance Huff, and Ty Williamson.
