Jeremiah D. Lothamer, age 46 of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
He was born on April 7, 1979 in Fort Wayne to Gregory and Colby (Ruckman) Lothamer. He was a 1998 graduate of Eastside High School in Butler.
Jeremiah worked at DuPont Hospital in Fort Wayne for many years before working at Reelcraft Industries in Columbia City for the past several years.
He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars, both for himself and his friends. He loved being outdoors, walking and hiking and Jeremiah was an avid reader.
Survivors Include:
His mother, Colby Lothamer of St. Joe.
His companion and best friend, Jennifer Bortel and her daughter, Grace DeBuss of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Joshua Lothamer of St. Joe.
Brother and sister-in-law, Jared Lothamer and Cyara Mongeau-Lothamer of Garrett.
One niece, Evelyn Mongeau of Garrett.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Lothamer.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.
Burial will take place at the Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, Indiana at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Jeremiah to the DeKalb Humane Society, PO Box 806, Auburn, Indiana 46706.
