Jeremy James Weems, age 19, was born in Dallas, Texas on April 18, 2003, and passed away in Greenwood, Indiana on February 15, 2023. Jeremy is a graduate of Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN.
Two things that Jeremy loved was music and family. Jeremy cared about the activities of his siblings and he enjoyed supporting them in the things they loved to do. Jeremy's passion was music. He worked to make a life for himself, but it was his hope that the world would one day hear and learn to appreciate his art. Jeremy wanted to make positive music with a message to give people hope through their struggles in life.
Jeremy is survived by his dad, Daniel Weems, Sr.; his stepmother, Julia Weems; and his mother, Leslie York. He is also survived by his siblings; LJ, Daniel, Julianna, and Julian Weems as well as Chastity York, Genesis York, and Curtis Daniels. Also, Jeremy's beloved uncles, Travis Laeder (Stephanie) and David Laeder; his grandmother, Muriel Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends. Jeremy was proceeded in death by grandparents Wayne and Geraldine (Geri) Laeder and Eric Weems, Jr.
There will be a visitation and funeral service on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The visitation is from 10:00am to 12:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. Burial will take place at Mount Pleasant after the funeral service.
