Jerrold Condo Obituary

He was born September 24, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA; he was the son of the late Howard and Eleanor (Heller) Condo.
Jerry graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1971. He worked for 42 years between Dunlap and State College Ford as an ASE and Ford Senior Master Technician until his retirement in 2016.
He was often found by the water, whether on the river boating, water skiing, or sitting poolside. He loved spending time with his family and friends, bird watching, and was often found quietly reading. He was known as a friend to many and the first one to lend a helping hand or offer up a cold beverage.
Jerry loved to travel and he had a knack for finding the best local restaurants and bakeries. He also had a great love of music and enjoyed finding records to fill his jukebox. He was an avid fan of Penn State, Philadelphia Eagles, and Pittsburgh Steelers football. He also enjoyed watching NHRA drag racing and often traveled to the Maple Grove Raceway to catch the races in person. He was a proud member of The Elks of Bellefonte and an S.A.L. member of the American Legion, Post 245 in Pine Hall.
In addition to his wife, Jonell Benzio-Condo, and his sister Bonnie (Wayne) Russo, he is survived by his children, Brian (Michele) Condo, Erica (Nate) Metzel, Wendy (Justin) Wilkinson, Katy (Jason) Benzio and Sara Benzio-Parks, and his grandchildren, Mason, Harper and Hudson Condo, Tyler and Jacob Metzel, Hannah Wilkinson, Jordan Parks, Haylee Benzio and Silas Ripka. He is also survived by his loyal golden retrievers Lacy and JuJu.
Celebration of life will be held at American Legion Post 245, 1950 Pine Hall Road, State College, PA, July 31, 2021 from 1pm-4pm.
