Coats, NC: Mr. Jerry Edward Holder, age 55 of Brandon Lane passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Brandon Shwaiken and Jerome Pope. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.

Jerry was born on November 25, 1969 in Aiken County, South Carolina to the late Roy and Angela Sue Lyles Holder. He worked at PJ’s Bodyshop for over 20 years as a welder. Jerry enjoyed working in the yard, spending time with his family, friends, and his animals. His son, Josh taught his father everything he knew about his chickens on the farm. He always was willing to lend a helping hand to his friends and neighbors. Jerry was very meticulous and kept everything in a running order especially a clean house and everyone knew the shoes came off at the door.

He was survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila W. Holder; children, Jerica Spell of Dunn, Joshua Holder and wife, Lauren of Coats, April Turpin and wife, Sarah of Coats, Tommy Turpin and wife, Aliesha of Kentucky; twelve grandchildren; brother, J. D. Holder of Dunn; sister, Tammy Holder of Dunn; sister-in-law, Rita Grifitts of Dunn; brothers-in-law, Gail Weaver and wife, Carolyn of Dunn and Marty Weaver of Dunn; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.
