Jerry Don Naile, age 86, died Thursday, April 4, 2024, at his home in Bertrand.
Born March 21, 1938, at Braggadocia, MO, to the late Aubrey Estel Naile and Helen Hampton Naile, he had lived in Bertrand most of his life. First employed with the Brown Shoe Company, he was later employed for a number of years at Noranda Aluminum, was a self-employed building contractor and owned Deep Steam cleaning services.
On December 9, 1956, he married Carolyn Sue Robison, who preceded him in death on November 11, 2021.
Surviving are his children, Jerry Don "Flipper" Naile, Jr. of Charleston; Sonya (Jeff) McKinley of Bertrand and Charles G. Naile of Charleston; his grandchildren, Brink, James, Jordan, Sierra, Hutton, William Conner and Charles Samuel; great grandchildren, Sage Marie and Julian; also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Charles (Sandy) Naile, Danny (Alicia) Naile, David Naile, Gary Naile, Larry Ray (Debbie) Naile; Judy (Larry) Brown and Sandy (Mark) Alberson; and a several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Sallyanne Brink Naile and his brothers and sisters, Thomas Glen Naile, Manuel Aubrey Naile, Peggy Lane and Shirley Eldridge.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

So very sorry for your loss. Your family our in my prayers. I had some wonderful times with JD, he was a good person. Flipper, I know how close you were to your dad,so please know you are in my prayers. You know, the Bible does give us hope that we can one day see our loved ones again.
