Jesse Martinez Magana

Jesse Magana, 70, of Gothenburg passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 as the result of an automobile accident.
Jesse was born on January 11, 1955. Jesse was a longtime resident of Gothenburg and went to school at Gothenburg high school and graduated in 1973. Jesse was a state alumni wrestler for Gothenburg high school and served two years in the military.
Jesse married Annette Goodwin on November 13, 1982 and together they have three children. Roman Magana and Wife Katherina of McGregor, TX, Sean Magana of Gothenburg, NE, Sarah Magana of Temple, TX. They have ten grandchildren, Xavier, Sean Jr, Sydney, Caden, Joell, Liam, Lillieana, Samantha, Bella, and Stephanie and their mothers Crystal A. Magana of McGregor, TX and Crystal L. Magana of Moody, TX. Jesse and Annette had a multitude of nieces, nephews.
Jesse and Annette loved their children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. They also loved so many others and sacrificed so much to help those in need. They enjoyed fishing and camping trips with all the kids and getting together for the holidays.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert T Magana. He is survived by his mother, Molly Magana of Gothenburg, NE. His three brothers Frank Magana and wife, Lorie of Lexington, NE, Rick Magana, and wife Heidi of Grand Island, NE, Junior Magana and Janice of Gothenburg, NE.
