Jillian Jean Crusen, 40, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Born to parents Kenneth Crusen and Barbara Howell, Jill came into this world on July 31, 1985.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Erwin at 11:00AM.

Jill is survived by her parents, Kenneth Crusen and Barbara Howell; a daughter, Kiley Crusen; uncles, Richard Crusen, Christopher Crusen, Ronald Lee Howell, and Billy Joe Howell; aunts Mickey Skipper, Marcia Schornak, Deborah Richards, Diane Powell, and Paula Lynn Turner; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Erwin And Shirley Crusen; maternal grandparents, Donald Lee and Dorothy Elizabeth Howell; uncles Terry Crusen and Larry Crusen, Jackie Ernest Tidwell and Michael D. Howell.

Jill attended Northwood Academy in Fayetteville, NC and Cape Fear Christian Academy in Erwin, NC. She was very active in her younger years, taking karate lessons and dance. She played softball and basketball, was a cheerleader in school and excelled in competitive gymnastics, attaining a level 8 gymnast. She loved working crafts and photography, listening to music and going to the beach, and hanging out with her friends.
