James Thomas "Jim" McFall, Jr., 66, of White Hall, had many great attributes. His two greatest attributes were loyalty to his family and friends as well as honesty in all he did.
He passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
Jim was born July 6, 1957 in Pine Bluff, son of James McFall, Sr. and Thankful Ann "Tankie" May McFall.
He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff and was a proud graduate of Jefferson Preparatory School, graduating in 1975. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1980 and subsequently earned his CPA license. He spent his 38 year career as a CPA serving the public, first working with his father for many years. Jim also owned and operated his own CPA business and worked with several other small firms throughout Pine Bluff and Northwest Arkansas. Jim was a member of the Arkansas Society of CPAs and also served as the past president of the Southeast Arkansas chapter.
Jim was a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pine Bluff, where his parents and brothers were also members. Jim served as an acolyte in the church in his younger years. Jim proudly served on the Lucy S. Elliott loan fund board for several years.
He was an avid sports fan, especially Arkansas Razorbacks baseball. Jim served on the board of the Merrill Foundation, an umpire for the American League and also greatly enjoyed coaching his son's Jr. Babe Ruth league team. Jim enjoyed golfing, going to the lake, his yard work, and spending time with his friends, especially his classmates from Jefferson Preparatory.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Noel Wilson "Buddy" McFall.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Pamela Henderson McFall, whom he married August 9, 1980 in England, Arkansas; son, Jay McFall (Natalie) of White Hall; daughter, Brittainy Williamson (Mark) of Scottsdale, Arizona; brother, Terrell McFall (Debbie); and three granddaughters, Marah Williamson, Elliott McFall and Sydney McFall. Jim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and his Jefferson Preparatory 1975 classmates.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2024 at Trinity Episcopal Church with Reverend Ray Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Mulberry Cemetery in England by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Village, note: defibrillator fund, 6400 Trinity Drive, Pine Bluff, AR 71603.
