Jo Ann Burdine, 73, of Magnolia, AR passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX.
Jo Ann was born on September 5, 1951, in Magnolia, AR to the late Denvill Reeves and Beverly (Crumpler) Reeves Magby. She was a wonderful and loving homemaker who spent her life raising and taking care of her family. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, listening to gospel music, and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 44 years, W. David Burdine; daughter, Vicki Lanette Burdine; and brothers, Billy Joe "Bimbo" Reeves and Randy Reeves.
Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Cindy Burdine of Magnolia; brothers, Charles Reeves of Magnolia, Butch Reeves of Magnolia, and Steve (Sally) Reeves of Haynesville, LA; sister-in-law, Ann Harmon of White Hall; nephew, Jamie Harmon of White Hall; and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with Rev. Cedric Walters and Bro. Scott Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at the Antioch East Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
