Joanne Marie Weber of Perry Township passed away December 2, 2024 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Warren W. Weber and shared 40 years of marriage.
Joanne was born September 15, 1944 in Philadelphia PA, the daughter of Joseph C and Anna M (Quirk) Nawa. She graduated from Reading Central Catholic High School. She had a varied career including Personnel Director at Caron International and spent 25 years working along side her husband in administration and production at Muhlenberg Foods. Most recently she was employed by Redners Markets, Leesport last working in September.
She enjoyed being outdoors - as long as it was warm- hiking and working in the garden. She loved all her animals especially her kitties.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her stepchildren Jody Weber of Santa Fe NM and Marc, husband of Rocio Weber of Cleona and 3 grandchildren, Claudia, Gabriel and Abraham Weber. She is survived by her siblings, Thomas Nawa, Wernersville, Janice, wife of William Zimmerman, Newmanstown and Carol Emerich, Mohnton and multiple nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers John and Patrick Nawa.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10th from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at the Stitzel Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Rd Laureldale PA 19605
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Humane Society, 1801 N 11th St, Reading PA 19604.
