Joart Villanueva Aromin, 62, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on March 22,
2023 surrounded by friends and family. Joart was born to Leo Aromin and Jessica
Villanueva on April 23, 1960 in Quezon City, Manila. In pursuit of following in his
father's footsteps, Joart attended and graduated from The Philippine College of
Criminology with a Bachelor's Degree in 1980.
As for hobbies, Joart had plenty. He dabbled in many, various activities in his time
which included playing the guitar, painting, and singing to name a few. Joart was
also a lover of sports with his favorites being Boxing, Basketball, and Golf.
However, what Joart loved doing most was being a loving Husband to his wife,
Susana Aromin, and Father to his son, Alexander Aromin.
Joart is remembered for his outgoing and playful attitude. His cheery personality is
a tribute to his desire to make others happy and overall promote positivity
wherever he goes. He was also never shy about giving back, always looking for
ways to help out friends, family and his community.
Survivors include his wife Susana Bado Aromin, of 10 Years; his son, Alexander
Aromin; his 2 sisters, Arcelie Belonio and Arlette Villaflores; and brother, Ariel
Aromin; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Joart was
preceded in death by his Parents, Leo and Jessica Aromin; and his sister, Arlyn
Labuguen.
Joart's Family will host a Celebration of Life service on Friday, March 31, 2023, at
12 noon (EST), at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake.
