Jodi Anne Barteet, 58, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, after an extended illness.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 10am to 11am at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. A memorial service will follow at 11am in the Chapel.
Jodi was born on October 18, 1966, in Chicago Heights, IL. Jodi was raised in Lowell, Indiana by her mother Elizabeth Louis Uchman and dad Richard Uchman. She graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor's degree and later received her master's degree from Western Governors University. Jodi had an extended career in healthcare with her final position being Vice President of Operations for Trident Medical Center. She enjoyed many things in life including traveling, relaxing at the beach, playing cards with her girlfriends, and most of all, spending time with her children. Jodi had a heart of gold and was always there to help and support her family and friends. Her caring and loving spirit will be greatly missed.
Jodi is survived by her loving children: Raymond "Trey" E. Barteet and Joshua R. Barteet; her extended family and caregivers: Raymond Barteet and Allison Barteet; her dad: Richard Uchman; her brothers, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving mother.
