John Beshear, 76, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at his home. He was born October 7, 1948 in Evansville to the late Louise (Wambach) and Leo Beshear.
John graduated from North High School in 1966. He worked in exterior home construction before he retired. John was a coin collector and classic car enthusiast. He also enjoyed learning about history and was an avid Star Trek fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Katherine Hayden; son, Brian (Megan) Beshear; step-grandchildren, Branden Redding and Bryan Oliver; brothers, Raymond (Jackie) Beshear and David (Joyce) Beshear; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Oates) Beshear; and brothers, William Beshear and Keith Beshear.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Bowersox officiating.
Entombment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
