John F. Boyle, born on October 12, 1949, in Jersey City, NJ, passed away on December 9, 2024, in Melbourne, FL. A proud graduate of Rutgers University, John dedicated his life to public service. He served as a Trooper in the New Jersey State Police for 30 years and as a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard for 22 years.
John was a devoted husband to Patricia Boyle for 50 years and a loving father to his two sons, John Boyle of Hamilton, NJ, and Patrick Boyle of Hamilton Square, NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Maureen Boyle of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and his brothers, Robert Boyle of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, and Gary Boyle of Alma, Arkansas.
John loved golfing with his friends, cruising all around the world with his family, and cheering on the N.Y. Giants.
A committed community member, John supported the Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting his deep dedication to helping others. He was also an active parishioner at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida.
John will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his selfless service to his country, and his warm, generous spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will be cherished by all who knew him.

John was my classmate for the NJSP 88th class. We wrestled each other at the Academy and by far one of the strongest people I ever wrestled. John had a great personality, he was fun loving and could always bring a smile to your face. He was an outstanding person and will be missed. Dave Leonardis #2874
