How do you put 45years of amazing friendship into a few words? I was able to say I love you at the end but I never did say "Thank you"! Thank you John for all the fun, humor, sleepovers, life lessons, guidance. Then teaching me to drive a car at 7years old; the farm diving for money in the hay, tractor rides and playing in the barn; letting my siblings and I play in the tanks at the Armory while you did paperwork; donuts in the Buick skylark at the Duer gym parking lot; road trips; camping; canoeing; and that´s early on... then Thursday night Tv line up with Cheers, Sunday morning at Schloegol´s, News Year Eve parties, 4th of July Parties, Homecoming and Prom pictures, Saturday morning cinnamon rolls and coffee, and then you became our neighbor in the last years- too many encounters to mention.
You will be missed dearly! Thank you for being born and the impact you´ve made. You are a rare breed!

Dearest Sandy and family, I am saddened to learn of John's passing. What an honorable person and man. John deeply touched the lives of many with his vibrant, full of life personality. Even though I have not seen John in many years the memory of him is most vivid in my mind. He was an extraordinary person. You've lost immensely. I am truly sorry.
Your former sister-in-law,
