John Herrin Obituary
Born September 15,1933, in Albemarle, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Grover F. Herrin and the late Mae Moody Herrin. John worked in television sales and served in the United States Navy. He also loved music, was a "Jack of all trades" devoted and always ready to help anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Herrin of the home; sons Eric Herrin (Diane) of High Point and Greg Herrin (Lina) of Statesville; daughter-in-law, Susan Herrin of Louisburg, NC; two grandsons; five granddaughters; two step grandsons; and one step granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Herrin.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with visitation and reception to follow.
