I just learned about Steven passing. Our condolences to Stevie´s family. We knew him well when we lived in Millis. A very faithful and devoted family man all his life.

I would like to add a short story about how much I appreciated Stevie. When we were kids, maybe 10 or 11, some of our friends went camping near the Boggastowe Brook somewhere behind Christian Herter´s home. It was a hot summer day and some of us wanted to cool off in the brook. I did not swim. There was a rock under water I could stand on. Then I slipped! It was Stevie who pulled me out of the brook before I drowned. It´s something both he and I never forgot.
