John Miner Obituary

He was born on June 22, 1937, in Williamsport, MD to the late Claude Harold and Esther May (Boppe) Miner.
He was a 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
John was employed by the State of Maryland as a Civil Engineer until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Betty Jane (Longnecker) Miner whom he married on June 28, 1963; daughters Dolly L. Foster (Robert), Tracy L. Miner, Michelle R. Miner, Maureen R. Baker (Scott), and Wynn A. Churchey (Ronald); brother Stanley R. Miner (Betty); granddaughters Blair Baker, Megan Ernst, Jessica Foster, Lauren Foster, Jordan Leone, and Sydney Gardner.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Harold C. Miner.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 10:00 am 12:00 pm (noon). Graveside services will be held at Blairs Valley Cemetery on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Chaplain Dean Pryor officiating.
