John E. Parsons

John E. Parsons, 66, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Aultman Hospital in Canton following an extended illness. Born October 18, 1958 in Massillon, he was a son of the late John and Ora (Harper) Parsons. He was employed in the construction industry as a roofer and later worked at ACE Hardware in Dover. John enjoyed fishing, woodworking and playing pool. He is survived by his sister Diane Stillion of Bolivar; 3 nieces Angela Cottrell of Bolivar, Teresa Fowler of Canton, Melissa McVeen of Canton and a nephew Curtis Pierce of Bolivar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother William Parsons and a sister Naomi Conrad. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and a family memorial service is being planned. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar is handling the arrangements.
