John Zizza Obituary

John was the beloved husband of Edna Zizza, her daughter Gleyzielle Rodrigues, her sons David Bernardes and Dylan Rodrigues, and he was the devoted father of John Zizza Jr. He was the dear brother of Steven, Michael, Chris and Eric Zizza, and the loving uncle of Fiona, Eden, Jack, Charles, Samantha, Mia and Zachery.
After earning a bachelor's degree, John attended Executive Flyers Aviation Flight Training Center and worked briefly as a flight instructor before beginning a career as a communications specialist in the Logan Airport Air Traffic Control Tower. John enjoyed watching the Bruins in person or on TV, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He also loved to cook for his family.
Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Friday, May 2nd at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
