We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Johnnie Thomas Daniel, 48, of Commerce. Johnnie was born on June 26, 1976, in Lubbock, Texas, the son of Michael Dean Daniel and Peggy Laverne Beckham Daniel.
A viewing and visitation will take place on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Commerce Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commerce Funeral Home Chapel.
Johnnie graduated from Commerce High School with the class of 1994. Most recently, he was working as a foreman at PSC, where he was well liked and respected. His coworkers were like family to him.
Johnnie was a beloved son, brother, husband to Traci, father, Pappy, and friend. He enjoyed living life; his happiest moments being spent with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed 4 wheelers, fast cars, fishing and traveling with his family. He was a kind heart, with a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing his family and friends.
Left to cherish Johnnie’s memory are his children, Hailea Brantley and husband, Riley; two grandchildren, Harper and Kinsley; his son, Hayden Thomas Daniel; two sisters, Denna Bunnell and Alisha White, and husband, Ben; nieces, Amber White, Makayla Bunnell, Raven Bunnell, Autumn White, and nephew, Benton White; his ex-wife, Traci, with whom he kept a close friendship.
Preceding Johnnie in death are parents, Michael and Peggy Daniel; his paternal and maternal grandparents; brother-in-law, Joby Bunnell; niece, Chausta Bunnell and great-niece, Joleigh Brooke.
