Jonathan G. Fischer was born on August 26, 1949, in Elmhurst, Illinois, to Warren G. Fischer and Nancy Jane Fischer (nee Marshall). He passed this life on August 8, 2025, at Delnor Hospital, St. Charles, IL, with his wife, Violeta Fischer (nee Dolleton) present at his side. His parents, Warren and Nancy Fischer, predeceased him.
Jonathan graduated from St. Charles High School in 1967, and then attended college at Cornell College in Iowa, graduating with his bachelor's degree in 1971. He then went to work for the family business, Fischer Industries, Inc., in Geneva, Illinois. He later became employed in the automotive business.
During his life, he was member of the Baker Memorial Methodist Church. Throughout his life he had a passion for music and was an avid collector. He was a good and supportive friend to many.
He is survived by his wife, Violeta, her children, Grace, Gail, Gwen, Gina and JR, his siblings, Kristen H. Fischer, and Hannah (Dan) Bonicatto, and his nephews, Tony and Andy Ehl.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174.
