Jonathan S. Pass

Jonathan Scott Pass, age 65, passed away on August 14th at his home. He was born January 16, 1960, in Wausau to Anthony and Jacquie Pass.

Jonathan was employed at Bemis/Amcor for 46 years, where he was a lead electromechanical technician. Even as a young boy, he loved the challenge of taking things apart. He wanted to know how they worked so he could turn around and put them back together. In fact, he was so good at this he always had a few pieces left over.

He will be sorely missed by his three children Christopher (Jennifer) Pass, Alecia Pass and Janee Pass, all of Fond du Lac. He was a proud Papa to Gabriella, Mariana, Julia and Mia. Jonathan was the brother to Stephen (Vicki) of FL and Patrick (Terri Hale) of Fond du Lac. He will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was further survived by his companion Linda Dorn of Fond du Lac.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dawn Pass, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jonathan. The feeling of his bare feet on the earth, embracing the quiet whispers of the wind, when you smell it's about to rain, petting his beloved animals while relaxing on his chair, closing his eyes to appreciate the way music can heal us.

His compassion extended to everyone he met and he was always there to offer a listening ear or a helping hand to anyone in need. His advice was sought by many and his calm presence was a source of comfort to all who knew him.

Jonathan's family invites relatives and friends for funeral services on Friday, August 29th at 11:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 1225 4th St. Fond du Lac. A time of visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until the start of services. Jonathan will be laid to rest next to his wife at Estabrooks Cemetery.
